What color brahma

This chick is 4-5 weeks old. Wondering what color it will be? It was a solid yellow chick when I first got it. Any guesses on gender?

Not a brahma, it's got a single comb. Where did you get it?

Interesting! I got it at a swap meet and of course I was told it was a brahma. It's rather large and has feathers on its feet. Do you have a guess as to what breed it might be? Maybe it's part brahma? I got this one along with five other random chicks to start a small backyard flock. I'm still learning and researching. Frustrating that I was fooled though lol!

Brahma mix is possible, adult shape will probably help with that (I know I know a long wait!) Color wise looks to be blue based, probably blue laced red/gold or something along those lines! Again, can be a little more certain when they're done getting their feathers in

Agree, not a Brahma, but sure is a beautiful chick. Please post photos when this little one has feathered out. It is very interesting.

Here are some updated pics of "Velvet". He is approximately seven weeks old now. It is a very docile and calm chick. It is the only suspected rooster at this time and fairly low in the pecking order. I love him!!! Any guesses on what breed it might be?

Looks like a Cochin mix.

I'm really not sure. Definitely a mix. Could be part Brahma or part Cochin. Typically pea combs are dominant but I've had a single combed Brahma before so it can pop up
