Father to these 2 poults was either my Black Spanish or his son, a Blue Slate. Mother is Blue Slate and she is also the mother to the Blue Slate tom. The Blue Slate tom (last years hatch) was sold this spring but I'm pretty sure he was breeding before he left.
I don't know the background on either the hen or the toms and not sure how the genetics work on chocolate on these guys. Is it sex linked like the recessive/sex linked color in chickens? Is this brown poult down even chocolate? or another color?

The blue hen is mother to these 2
The father could "possibly" be her blue slate son that I sold a while back.
but more likely the sire is my Black Spanish tom. This is why
I sold the younger tom, his son.
