I painted my coop a color called “Fire trunk red” it super bright but I like how it looks. It also has white trim like a barn. It’s supper cute!

75% discounted Lowes mistint. Looks to be tanish. Lot and lots of mistints around here.

I went with the barn and fence paint because it's cheaper and animal-safe. I used the white on the inside. I like the classic barn look.

Mine isn't painted yet, but if I do should I paint it a dark color to attract more sunlight/warmth in winter? Would painting it a really dark color work like that?

I painted mine to match my pole barn. The walls of the coop are insulated and I use a deep litter set up so they are warm in the winter. I limit the drafts. In the warmer months I open the windows and have fans inside the pen and coop. They are spoiled.
