What color do you think these Americauna/EE chicks will be?

I got these “Ameraucana aka Easter Eggers” from a feed store that got them from Mt. Healthy. I’ve had them for 1 week. They were nearly identical when I got them. They are a murky yellow with grey heads and some grey muddled in the yellow. I assumed they’d be the same color, but now they seem different. One has dark legs and the wing feathers are more of a solid slate grey (or blue). The other has light legs and mottling on the head. The wings are lighter in color. Maybe white? pale buff?

If you’ve had chicks similar in color, I’d love to see how they turned out or just your best guess.

Maybe one of them will end up looking like this EE in my flock? I don’t know how she looked as a chick, sorry, since I got her as a pullet. I think yours will end up being very pretty.

The one in front (with the more solid blue head/dark legs) will probably turn out light grey or splash.
The one with the mottled head appears to have at least one copy of the partridge gene, and will probably appear mostly white with some sort of incomplete blue/grey pattern on its feathers (incomplete lacing, penciling, spangling, tc.)

This is actually an old post from last year, but your anssessments are correct!

The grey head turned out to be a medium or light blue and the mottled head is white with some patterning that is a very light smokey blue or lavender color.

I’m not experienced with the partridge gene. What gave it away?

Ack, saw a recent reply and didn't check the OP date. But a cool update to get, and hopefully helpful for others to have the before/after!

Chicks with a partridge gene (either e^b/e^b, or heterozygous with Wheaten) often have that mottled head and similar patterns on their wing feathers as they grow out. Wyandottes are a good example of chicks with partridge down patterns, though even their down pattern varies a lot depending on which color variant you're looking at.
