what color eggs?

I have some chicks that I hatched out from my Leghorn hens and RIR rooster. Just wondering if the resulting hens will lay white or brown eggs.

Light brown, I think. Sounds like you made a red sex link!

Hi Jamie. They will be a shade inbetween the brown RIR eggs and the white leghorn eggs. A cream or tinted color. Not white or brown. What color did their feathers turn out to be? Usually white leghorns are dominate white so the F1 birds will be white. If the white leghorns are recessive white, they could be any color.
