What color have some of you painted your coop

I got our paint from the local recycling center for free

We are big recyclers. So ours is orange with light orange trim. We have blue chickens and I wanted to name it "The House of Blues" but now we call it "The Magic Pumpkin" hehe. Magically eggs appear

My choice to go with your tan would be a Forest Green. We had a house that was a tan brick and they had used a tan paint for the trim...boring...I changed the solid front door from boring white to a Forest Green divided lights door that let lots of light into the dark entry. Looked smashing with the bricks.

Good luck! We are so far behind...I will be lucky to have a coop/run before my oldest chicks start laying!

Ours is good sized and in the front yard, so we decided to match the siding style, roof material and paint colors of our house. It's a colonial blue and the trim is a cream. I like coops that are co-ordinated with the house, but I also like coops with their own individual style and colors, especially if people do something fun or artistic with them. I've seen some really fun coops. For some reason, the cheery paint job on the house in the movie "Up" is coming to mind, now.

My chicken house is actually our old home (we built a new home on the property). It is barn red with white trim. I love some of these other colors that have been shown!

This was the wifes choice, she has a severe love of this color. This pic doesn't have the white trim all in place yet so you will have to use your imagination. It may have to change to white with purple trim, I think it is going to make fried chicken the way it is:barnie:hit.
