Does look more BB Red than Mahogany to me.
Thanks guys. I'll have a good look at his chest tomorrow. I can't die the life of me remember what color it is at the moment.
The coloring in his beard is actually part of the mahogany color scheme, and still seperate from spangel to the best of my readings.

Your boy is Black Breasted Red with some spangling.
Mahogany normally is a full body color like Buckeyes, & Rhode Island Reds.
