What color is my cochin pullet? **side pic added**

I'd say it's a blue girl. I have several blue hens - all of the girls tend to have darker heads than the boys. The light wing feathers will dissappear pretty soon. Look at this girl:

FYI- she started out very pale - I thought she was going to be splash too.

Yes, that is very similiar to our girl..who is named Splash, BTW

When we got her she had feathers on her wings which were light blueish and the rest was, as my daughter said, snot green.

Very white down with a tinge of green. She moulted all that out and got nothing but dark feathers, which is where we are now. I knew pretty soon she wasn't going to be splash. But the man who sold us to her thought she would be splash so her parents must have been the correct combo for that. Oh, well. We love her anyway!

She isn't a blue or self bue(which is way lighter)... Looks to be a bad rendition of a splash.
