What color is my Orpington hen?

I hatched this gal out 12 weeks ago. Can anyone tell me what color she is? Her sister is blue. The eggs were supposed to be B/B/S orps.

I would say that she is splash colored type of hen. If your parent birds were both Blue type parents then you should get Blue 50%, 25% Black, and 25% Splash. But I am assuming that your parents are both Blue fowl.

from the picture, she looks like she got green legs...hope it is the flash issue from the camera makes her legs look green.

She looks splash. Looks like red or buff bleeding thru the blue feathers which it is not that unusual...genetics gone afowl!
