What color is the inside of your coop?

I’m painting a new coop, i’m thinking of going a light gray on the inside. But i want to know what color the inside of your coop is and if you would change it?
Mine is light tan. I have a mess on the back wall behind the roost from the girls pooping! I would suggest any color you choose, but hang a tard on the wall behind the roost that can be easily removed and washed off! Have 2 of them so you can change them out. Hope this helps!

I'm on my third coop, and my husband has built them all. I prefer white porch paint on the inside floor of my coops. Poop doesn't stick to it very much (I also use pine chips on the floor, which I change monthly, and a corrugated plastic "poop catcher" under the roosts) and I can scrub it down annually in the summer.

The interior of my coop is white. I read somewhere to paint with deck paint for ease of cleaning and that's what I used. I also caulked the cracks to counter bug-a-boos having a place to hide. The exterior is medium gray with white trim. The white interior does have poo scattered Jackson Pollock style here and there... but I'll give it a good hose down when it warms up. I don't regret the white but think gray would look great too!

Will the smell of paint bother the chickens? They do peck at the roosts now and then. Is it ok to eat the paint flakes? Sorry to be a party poop!!! haha

I second the porch paint! It makes it super easy to clean and withstands a power washer quite nicely if a really deep clean is needed.
