Hello! I have just hatched my first batch coturnix quails and I can't quite figure out what color this little guy is

I had originally thought that it was an Italian, but now I'm not so sure because i saw more photos and saw that they were more yellow. However it looks too light to be the classic brown color.

Here it is next to my "wild type" (it's lines are a bit more defined in person)

And I'm sorry but I have one more question, Is this chick a Texas A&M/English White, or an Italian?

And here is another picture of the brown one, I just think it's too cute!

I think your first gorgeous baby it's a roux dilute, also known as fawn. It's a paler version of the pharaoh colour. If your second one has stripes on its back then it will be a Manchurian gold. There is quite a variety in pattern in the gold and Italian colours as they can be influenced by other colours in their genetic background.

Aren't they just the sweetest things?! :love

Thank's so much! They really are the sweetest. I even made tiny Christmas hats for them lol, I really have wayy too much time on my hands. Planning on keeping them as pets, any suggestions on keeping them tame?
