What color is this chick?

Hi all, I am posting a pic of a chick I just hatched out to get your opinion but first her is some back ground information. This chick was hatched from a white pair that I bought as chicks. The weird thing about this pair was when I gave them their first bath I could see silver mainly in the tail and back,areas, but this was only when wey. When dry they looked pure white. The breeder had no clue what happened since all of her colors are seperate. So out 1 curiosity I hat,hed a few of their eggs and this is what I got... Any insight would be

greatly appreciated.

It looks like it has silver in its genes, but mostly white.

Yes it is a silkie, the wet one on the photos is the father. It came from a white pair that both had silver leakage that you could only see when wet

Maybe it is what they call "smoky?" It's a mutation that sometimes shows up with white. You can read about it here: http://kippenjungle.nl/basisEN.htm
