Got these 3 girls early this spring... what color would they be considered?
All babies I got from these girls were blue.. Mixed with my white jersey (not so) giant..

Anyone mix with Blue Cooper Maran roo?
Pics of offspring?

thanks so much...

They're very pretty. I'm not sure what color you'd call them (other than Blue and Brown), but I have a similar colored EE:

A bit scruffy on her back from being mounted by a dominant hen (I rehomed that hen)

Offspring will give you mostly blue or black birds with some brown here and there. And, they'll be lightly feather-shanked, but with a beard and muffs.

Best of all, they'll be Olive Eggers.

These birds here, though, being Easter Eggers, are simply "brown and blue" - I'd say they're carrying some sort of old wildtype BBR, perhaps with columbian, and of course blue.

They are sorta similar to a blue red colouring. Whether or not a colour is pure or exact, I prefer to try to label it as nearly as possible. Note that the hackle of a blue red should be more red and less blue.
