What color is this Polish chicken?

We had a Polish like the one in the pic at top, We were told he was a golden laced.

While I agree that there probably is some Gold-laced in the bird in question, his body seems mostly black, and there are those white feathers on his head, too. That's why I think he's partly White Crested Black.

You are probably right. We got ours for free because he was supposed to be a she.

I thought there were black, blue and white Polish chickens. What color would you say this child is? She was solid black when I got her, with a white tuft on her head. Thanks!

polish roo siblings shoud be perfectly fine together,they may have a bit of mild fisticuffs and chest puffing whilst trying to establish a hierarchy,it generaly does quieten down after a while.

the polish roo looks beautiful,hope have not read the awful cruel review someone did of the breed on BYC,am planning on hand rearing some polish next spring.
