What color is this Silkie chick?

What color is this Silkie? The Silkie is off-white and has a gray-ish color.

White paper under the chick to show that it is not white. Flash pictures to give a different lighting, it is a little too dark here right now for me to get a picture with outside lighting. I will attach an older picture of the chick with natural lighting (the chick on the left of the last picture)

It's too early to know for sure, but stark white usually winds up silver, and since it has some variations of grays, perhaps a silver splash.

Not sure where you got them at but to just per chance wind up with a lavender silkie doesn't happen, or if it does, it's pretty rare. You would normally have had to have purchased eggs or chicks that were from lavenders as lavenders have to come from at least one lavender parent.

It's even more complicated than that and when I'd researched breeding those, I decided against it.

Are the new feathers that grey color or white? White silkies can hatch grey then grow white feathers later.
Otherwise there is a chance she is splash, though she appears much paler than splash birds I am familiar with.
