What color is this silkie chick?

We just picked up 2 silkie chicks, a black 2 wk old and another 3wk old. We have a white hen we rescued at 9 wks that's now 6 months old.

This silkie was given to us as "porcelain" but in looking at the pictures of porcelain chicks online, she looks much too dark! Any help would be great!

Also - in others experience, have just 2 chicks done okay at this age or is it common to lose them? Thanks in advance!

That chick is a partridge silkie! I raise two myself! They looked exactly like that little one

Also I raised only two chicks also my two partridge girls.they are doing Great thank God! Going on 8 weeks, my others i bought as pullets. But your baby should do just fine.

I raised 3 d'uccles from 3 days old and they did just fine. Actually, I even drove them from Florida to Connecticut at about 2 weeks old and they did just fine (one of them is in my avatar!)
