What color is this Silkie?

I'd say it looks similar to these

It looks like a blue cream

I saw this thread before it had any replies but held off to wait for the masses.

It is definitely a blue cream (a.k.a porcelain)

Porcelain anything is never white. That would be called white if it was.
 
Here's why it's a Blue Cream

Crest is lavender. Body is a faded buff.

Porcelain silkies are actually lavender and buff. No mottling. So in reality they are a false porcelain. Calling them blue cream makes more sense.

Essentially, you end up with a phenotypical lavendar buff columbian.
 
I bought her from a lady who said she had bought them at Tractor Supply. I didn't mean to get an argument started! If I breed her, it will just be for more pet Silkies. I'm not going to sell or show them, so the color is really not that important. I was just curious. Please don't fight. :oops::oops::hit

If she got them at TSC, then she is definitely a buff! :woot

We aren't fighting.

I guess she could be a buff, but that still doesn't explain the crest color.
