What color is this?

I've raised pigeons for 4 years and I've never seen this color before, does anybody know what it's called? He' hasn't molted yet he's a boba month and a half old. He is that dark brown color over most of him but has a lighter tawny on his wing tips..

I would classify it as a checker but the coloration is unique to be sure.

I have a checker that has weird coloring also.

if the two birds you have listed as pets are the parents the two breeds have several colors not commonly seen and could be affecting the color

His great grand father is a Serbian high flyer, he also has Arabian roller, feral homer, and white racing homer predecessors.

That is a Silver Check, the dilute version of Blue Check.
