I recently purchased a 1 year old silkie hen. She coincidentally just laid her first egg today! I have a good amount of Silkies, but haven't seen this color. Does anyone know what this colors called?

She's beautiful! I'd say mauve. It appears she's got a little splash thing going so perhaps a mauve splash
