What Color Will This Call Duck Be???

Wish I knew if it was a drake or female. The kids call it "Mr. Yellow" but for some reason they have changed and started calling it "Mrs. Yellow" It is the calmest of all the ducklings. I would love to know what it will look like as an adult.

Where did you buy it? Could be a mix.. I'd give it a few more weeks to grow in it's feathers.. My closest guess for now is either a Silver or a mix.

I hatched it from a friend's eggs. She has several colors I believe.

If all her call ducks are in the same pen then my guess is that it's a mixed breed.

Yes they are. Just wondering what the colors will be. I didn't realize there were different breeds of Call Ducks. You learn something new every day. Thanks!

Not Different breeds. Different colours. There are also Bantam Ducks that people refer to as Calls.
East Indies, Mini Silver Appleyard Bantam too.

She said they were Calls, so I think they probably are, but she has several different colors, so could be a combination. There are other light ones, but they have a darker head and back than this one.
