I am picking this girl up Saturday and could not be more excited!
Is she mottled and calico? Or is that an either/ or type of thing?

She's not for breeding, just curious.

Thank you both! Either way, I'm happy.

Definitely makes me want to learn more about colors and genetics tho. Shes my 1st frizzle and I'd like to educate myself more on what creates gold leakage.

I had a pekin bantam roo that was very similar colour, except he was not frizzle feathered. I think he was a mix between mottled and mille fleur

He sounds adorable!

The leakage at the wing has me slightly concerned about her being a roo. I have not seen her in person yet and she supposedly had laid an egg. I don't even know the age of her.
While I don't doubt what the seller says, its just a concern in the back of my mind. I've noticed frizzle birds are harder to sex.

I have a frizzle roo and unless yours is a very young bird, I would guess its a hen.
