what color?

I do happen to have a white Silkie and a black Bantam Cochin. The Silkie is my profile pic and she looks lighter than the one in your pic. My little black Cochin looked just like your other chicks. I had thought she would have some white as she kept some of the light color for a long time, but at 6 months,she is a pure iridescent black.

Look up pics of a mottled Cochin chick. They Have a lot more white on them.
For sexing, post pics of your cochin chicks combs at six weeks.
Post pics of your Silkie's crest, and comb, holding the crest back, at twelve weeks.
