What coloration is this?

    My little banty cochin is cute as anything, but I don't know how to describe his color. What would you call it?

    Nah, he's a Columbian Cochin with lots of brassiness... or maybe he's just really dirty.

    He's Columbian patterened and split for bot silver and gold, which is why he has the gold areas showing.

    Thank you -- he is brassy. It doesn't show well in the picture, but his head is practically golden. The yellow-brass-gold toward his tail does look dirty -- I can't decide if I like it or not.

    He was hatched here -- I bought the eggs from a breeder of mille fleurs. This is my second batch from her -- they are very calm -- but I did not know what to call this color.

    He's a "golden" Columbian. Cross of Buff x Light/Silver Columbian.
