No but shes broody
Sitting on 9 atm i think it was
Idk what day (over 5 days maybe) it is but candles last night 2 seem to be growing

They like these nests/sand boxs

I tried to palm those chicks off to her but after finding one dead under her (it was unzipping so swapped her egg) i disregarded idea, put her by herself emptied all quail eggs from incubator
She can do it the long way
She did sucessfully not kill 1 unzipping quail i found under wing next mornign
1 lived one died so yh she by herself no chicks now. Only eggs to sit on
In total i have 11 quail babies in brooder they healthy

I want to encourage them all go broody i think
I got to much work atm

This was her set up she went broody in
They happy as long have dust bath
I feed them chicken scratch grain empty refill every 2nd day
Sunflower sorghum wheat, odd oyster shell grit mix
Sometimes i pick some clover grass and dandelions chuck it in

Other week i put some termite filled ash dirt from the burn pile they loved that

That pen is rat proof the cardboard is on top of rio avary mesh
