What colour are they and what will they throw?

They're Birmingham rollers, the one up front is the male, the white in back is the female, (Zach and Mimzy) they've begun to flirt and they have been sitting a bit in a premade nest I gave them but I'd also very much LOVE to know what babies they'd make!

I was told Mimzy was an Almond (which I believe 100% she is) and that Zach is a Blue (Blue/black spread, also believe 100%) Except that Zach also has white primaries and his ankles are white. Mimzy is solid white besides what is seen in the image

I'd love some insight on what babies they'd make and if I have their colours wrong <3

I'm not an expert on almonds, but I do believe you got the colors right. The offspring color depends on what the female carries under the almond, which I believe is a dominant trait and causes depigmentation. So the offspring should be 50% almond of some variety but without knowing the parentage of both pigeons it's quite hard to predict what's gonna pop out. I've also heard that it's not reccomended to breed two almonds together (I don't have experience with that, but you might want to look into it) which is something to keep in mind for the future.

From what you have here I believe you could be in for a surprise on every hatch, good luck!

I did read some places that you shouldn't breed almond to almond and I don't think I will ever even have the chance to since these guy's babies will (if ever bred) be bred to our friends birds who are various grey's

I also read somewhere that if you breed an almond hen to a non-almond cock you will end up with almond cocks and non-almond hens which should be interesting to find out

I do believe that's true, almond is sex-linked trait, so that should make it easier to determine the baby pigeon's gender
