What could be doing this?

I knew someone who had a Jack Russel Terrier. That dog would dig until he came up with a mole. The lawn looked awful but it was mole free :)
That is a good idea! My husband is always saying we should get one for the neighborhood rats. That or a bull terrier

Got anything that'll work on moles and ground hogs??
Put a handful of garlic and another handful of hot pepper flakes (or habanero if you have them) into a blender. Add a few squirts of dishwashing liquid. Fill remaining space with water and blend thoroughly. Pour 1/4 cup at base of plants you dont want unearthed by moles. It also deters moles and other critters from entering areas you want off limits to them. Last year they were unearthing our 16 blueberry bushes every night. I did a quick internet search, desperate for a solution. I tried this mixture and the moles haven't bothered my blueberry bushes since (reapplied only once a month during warm weather). We poured it around the veggie starts outside and we havent had any damage to any of them yet this year, so it must be keeping rabbits and other such things at bay.

Screen shot taken, thanks, might just try that before any more of our yard is made into a mess.
