What could be wrong with this goose?

I'm a little concerned about this one goose. It looks like she's missing half of her body.

She is probably in molt and has lost all her tail feathers but 1 My gander looks the same right now.

Just missing its tail feathers. They'll grow back.

... missing tail feathers. If this is a public park, fine. If this is near the woods, maybe something tried to chomp him/her and he escaped

Maybe so do you ever notice anyone messing with the geese? [humans] kids chasing them? It's sad to think but kids can be very cruel I have seen it many times on BYC.
