What could cause this? Thoughts? Help on Correcting?

Feed doesn't have to smell bad to be old.
It smells like always.. I went today and grabbed a new bag from the co-op with some 5 grain scratch also..

The people at the co-op said they may be trying to go into a molt (sorry from the soft shells- not egg bound)...they told me I could speed up the process by withdrawing food 24-48 hours, however I am not comfortable with this I would rather them molt on there own

Not saying that isn't true, but this would be the first I've heard that being egg bound is a sign of going into molt and the first I've heard of withdrawing feed to encourage them to molt. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that myself.

Sounds like she still has a calcium issue.
I skimmed back thru the thread and don't think I saw an age on these birds?
Do you have other birds the same age laying OK?
Did you change their feed at all?

Be careful pulling on anything coming out the vent.
I've had a membrane hanger, put her in a crate and she passed it by morning.

Would also help to know....
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Ok will do update my profile
But for now we are in north central Alabama. they are about 10 months old.
When we started the new bag of Dumor layer feed (16%) is when I started noticing major issues

1 had an issue of egg bound November she also lays double yoke and soft shells (when laying twice a day) she is a golden comet

this one RIR.. had an issue of egg bound a couple of weeks ago.Gave her an epsom salt bath and within 10 mins she laid 2 one hard shell looked like it had been there a while because her eggs are usually pale and this one was dark brown.. the second was egg white and yoke just egg no membrane.. she has laid one hard shell since but nothing else

the original pic shows two more membrane skins but I cannot say who laid those.
