The bodies of my chickens disappeared, but there's a pile of feathers left .. what could have done this?

Dog, cat, coyote, fox... could be a raccoon but usually they leave peices.

How many birds at one time and how old?
A pile of feathers and a single bird missing.....or one bird lost at a time......is often a hawk. Are the birds that were lost out in the open where a hawk or other raptor could get to them?

We lost one each day, it took my last 5 all about 8 yeas old. Could have been. But nothing happened util our rooster passed
