What could I be? PHOTO ADDED

It isnt a Cochin because it has 5 toes, and not a Silkie because it doesnt have blue skin, and I dought its a Faverolle because of the simple fact that the chick pictured has a small crest and Faverolles dont. Id second the Sultan comment.

It is definitely not a silkie. It does seem to have a small crest but only when you look at it from the back. Soooo confused. Any more guess?

Cabe, there just aren't many breeds with 5 toes, crests, and feathered legs. Unless it's a mixed breed, I'm going to go with Sultan also. They're medium sized birds, they will not be as big as the standard layer or duel purpose breeds. I have two of them (male and female), they have a gentle nature.

Here is a picture of a Sultan chick from feathersite, and it very closely resembles the pic of your chick.

And here is a pic of an adult pair of Sultans from feathersite as well, to give you an idea of what they look like.

Sultans come in Bantam or Standard and hatcheries here in the US only carry White Sultans, unless they have changed that since I last got a catalog.

But leg color isnt what it will be when they get older. We had sultans that hatched out with pink legs and they ended up with the proper slate legs. Both silkies and sultans are supposed to have the same leg color as adults. The only for sure ways to tell the differece in chicks are the comb and when the feathers start to come in, one is ragged and one is normal.
