What could of killed my chickens

I found one of my chickens dead this morning and another injured. I have netting on the top of my run and nothing has dug under. What could have gotten in?

What kind of netting is the top? What wire are the sides made of? Can you post some photos of your setup? What damage was done to the birds bodies?

Need a lot more info---how old, were they in a very secure coop, was part of them eaten??? Netting over the top of the run is not very safe for the chickens, other than flying predators. Give us more Info.

Is the area they are in clean? It They might be Sick check any signs of illness,
and can you take some photos and more info?

They are healthy. When I opened the coop his morning the chickens head was eaten off and a huge part of its body. My coop is inside our run. We did not see any evidence of anything that tried to dig under. Could this possibly be a raccoon or fox?

Probably a stoat. They can fit through even 1 inch small holes.

I have heard that a skunk will eat the head off, leave the rest. Never have seen it, but my Grandmother used to warn of it.
