Yep, crested cream legbar. Here's my hatchery CCL last week at 5 weeks. She had those greenish legs, too, but the green is fading and they are turning more toward yellow. She's also the 1 week old chick in my profile pic. She's got a great disposition -- gentle yet plucky when there's a treat on the line.

She's a pretty girl!

I think she's a pretty little Olive Egger. The first egg is always exciting, but I think it's more excited when you don't know exactly what color it will be!

Ok.. here are both of the mystery bin chicks. The second is just of the maybe roo.

I'm pretty sure the first chick is an olive egger, the coloring and green feet aren't really consistent with cream legbars. The second chick looks like an olive egger as well, but nothing really says cockerel to me yet.

Agreed. I’m thinking they are both olive eggers from cream legbars and maybe welsummers. Curious to see what color eggs they lay! Olive eggs would be cool.

There is nothing more special, than to collect sapphire blue eggs from a friendly Ameraucana hen. She made a great broody mama too!
