What day in the countdown is it??

This is my very first hatch and I'm not sure what day I'm on. I put them in the incubator on Friday March 7th at around 11pm. If I counted from that day, Friday would have been day 21. But I've seen some say that you don't count that first day, you wait 24 hours -then you start day 1. To add even more confusion to it, I've read that if it's after 12 pm, you start the count the next day. So what day am I on?

I'm so confused on that-I have not one chick showing any interest in hatching yet, either. Silkie, come to me!!
