What did I do? Im so worried help me!

I have had 6 khaki campbell eggs in my bator for a while now. And all of them were rotten but 1!!! What did I do wrong? I dont understand!? I kept the one egg that I have left in my bator and threw out all the rotten ones. Will this one duckling be ok by itself if it hatches? Im sooooo worried!

Where did you get the eggs? Sometimes people collect eggs after a duck had been sitting for a while and stops, so maybe they weren't good when you put them in. A duck should have a buddy of some sort, maybe you can buy one locally if it hatches.

Duck eggs are almost always super nasty with dirt, did you clean them or incubate them dirty ??.

I got them off ebay, thats probably the reason, they were very gross looking when I got them. I rubbed off as much dirt as I could with a wet rag. I still feel like.its my fault though! What am I gonna do with ONE duckling?
