I dunno but chick four is too adorable! They're all cute but wow. That one just melts my heart.

I would say chick #3 was a Brown Leghorn and chick #4 a Silver Laced Wyandotte. My guess on the reddish one is a Rhode Island Red

Well, ideally I'd like to have all hens.
Are roos necessary for egg production or just fertilization (which I don't want)?

I think I'm getting chicken overload, here - all that's another 4-5 months away, right?
At this point I should just be conetrating on raising the chicks (whatever they may be) and browsing coop blueprints, right?

I have to say chick #3 looks just like the 4 welsummer chicks I just got.

Roosters are only needed for fertilization. The girls are gonna lay eggs regardless if they have a rooster or not. So you're good to go!!!

That 4th one could be like the "ancona" chick that i got last year that was not a ancona.
