What did I get? Potential rooster?

Update on Poppy. Suddenly, and I mean suddenly I started looking closely at Poppy. She stands very tall, she's getting to look like a rooster! She is 2 1/2 months old now and it seems like she suddenly changed! But, at this point a young rooster would be going after the girls, or a young hen would be getting interested in nest boxes. Nothing. She/He is very shy, doesn't interact with the girls, doesn't chase, actually stays alone and out of the group. What is it? Boy or Girl? I'm so confused. I got this fertile egg from a friend that has Brahmas. If it's a he, he probably has Brahma genes. As you know they develop VERY slowly. Changing name to Freddy!!

Your dream came true! Congrats!

Now I'm concerned that the second chick hatched is also a cockerel in the making. He is a big baby, still hanging onto Momma and cheaping like a baby! He is getting really long legs and standing tall like a rooster does. Damn, he was supposed to be Mabel! One thing about this chick, he/she trills. Especially at bed time, he will go into the coop, roost and trill and trill like crazy. I used to think it was because he was happy with Mom, but she doesn't roost with him any more and he is doing it now more than ever!
