That is odd and alarming.
I don't think it is a lash egg because those are made up of cheesy substance that is basically pussy discharge (true puss is a cheese-like substance). Those indicate severe infection of the oviduct.
In the OP's photo, you can see the formation of the egg sac membrane, with simply albumin, but that's a whole lot of blood that ought not to be there. It indicates hemorrhage somewhere.
Watch and wait. I should think the hen that laid this will begin to show other symptoms as well that may help you assess her better.
Typical causes of sudden shell-less eggs can be diseases such as Newcastle, Infectious Bronchitis, and Egg Drop Syndrome. All those are viral infections.
Also with aging hens, ovarian cancers are common especially in the high production commercial breeds and hybrids.
Sorry a hen is laying this. I can't imagine it bodes well for her.
