What did you do in the garden today?

Yeah! Well that seriously sucks! That’s pretty awful.
Ya. If he doesn't get one up this year. I might have to suck it up and put one up. More $$, but so is two full days, in the cold restringing barbed wire and do new ties. A herd of hungry cows and calves can push down and through a barbed wire fence when they see lush green grass and an orchard on the other side.

As much as I love herding and roping calves at 6 am in my pajamas. NOT.

A good box goes a long way. Pigs, no respect for anything. especially the little ones. They think they can just run through anything. And of course where the little ones go the bigger ones follow. But a good box fixes that (Mostly) I’m just thankful it’s the piglets and not pumba that don’t respect hot wire  :duc

I wish I could manage that. I am terrible at starting things from cuttings OR seed. OC if I had a proper adjustable height light and a heat mat that would probably help things.
I have the oddest luck. Pomegranate and figs I can do, hibiscus too but roses, not in a life time :lau I don’t do anything fancy so maybe a light and a heat mat would help :idunno I usually just stick things in the dirt and wait.

I’m not the over achiever. It’s the wild petunias that won’t die even though every thing else has been killed by freezes. Grass, canna lilies, bananas, pumpkins, roses, trees.

We planted several bulbs this last year folks dug them up each fall put them back in the spring :confused:our winters are not that bloomin cold so left them in the ground all seem to be fine so far

Do you have a green house to start them in ?
