What did you do in the garden today?

What a day!
So the wind was not supposed to blow because I had it set in my mind to take down the last of my tarps and reposition my top tarp.
Wind blew off and on
And over the years my run has shifted positions. I had to use a crowbar to get the tarp between my wood fence and my chain link....WHAT!

Just look how tight it IS!
And I had to reach finger by finger to pull the tarp down through the chain link.

Waving. BYC didn't send me notices for four days! I am so behind in reading.

Nothing in the garden. I will get the berry bushes out this weekend and get the heat toppers on them. 70 this weekend, probably a snow event next week. OC.

I need to thin some seedlings in the cells.

Yesterday I put down two of my older hens. I am NOT a fan of doing it, but it's part of animal keeping. Sigh.

So I got it done.
It needs to be redone a bit but it can wait till tomorrow. It’s secure enough till then (smooth the wrinkles)
I noticed all these floaty things around my head...Butterflies!

Tons of them !! Something hatched and it was like an explosion. So beautiful...God must of known I needed something to lift my spirits. Made all my problems seem small, ya know?

picked up a aloe vera plant and small pair of nifty garden gloves

Went plant shopping today, hit a few places.

One of them had just gotten in a flat of the elusive Night Sky petunia that I've been hunting for since it was released in 2017. They now have .... less than a flat remaining.
