Sunny today . 55% yesterday high of 80º today and humid due to all the rain . Rain everyday this week . Todays rain will come near midnight . So hard getting outdoor work done .

Good morning all gardeners! Failed at an all-nighter, still woke up early though. Tomatoes and peppers are thriving in my garden with this weather! Keep the plants watered and fertilized and they will grow great. Weather for Eastern NC is sunny with some clouds towards the beginning of next week! Gardening weather is tops, make sure your chickens have good weather. Prepare for large plants!

Try the Deep Litter Method. It's interesting and enjoyable. You may have to clean your coop as much as once or twice a year. It sounds bad or dangerous, but if done correctly it's really good. If you're interested I recommend some simple research. Every time you would clean your coop, just put a good coat of pine shavings (or whatever litter your using) to completely cover up the older dirtier layer.
