Apparently when I was blackberry picking the other day, I got into something and have a terrible itchy rash on my arms and neck. I was wearing shortsleeves and jeans so those areas were exposed. My face doesn't have it yet. I don't know what it is, since my kids don't have it. I thought maybe a reaction to the bug spray, since I used a new kind with Picaridin. I looked it up and it said it is less likely than Deet to cause allergic reactions and there was only one documented case of a reaction. So either I will be the second, or it was some plant.
It does not look like poison ivy, but itches worse than I have ever felt in my life! I have been popping benedryl every four hours, and it is barely taking the edge off. I am calling the doctor tomorrow if it hasn't gotten any better.
I didn't get anything done outside, because the heat makes the rash worse.
Oh no! That’s awful.

You can get a rash reaction from contact with the fine hairs on berry bushes. Fellow sufferer. Mechanical irritant dermatitis. I find a good shower with a strong soap helps. Mainly it's annoyanceby a thousand punctures. When they heal you'll feel better.

Really we all where sitting outside just chatting talking stories about auto shops parts stores and tires I use to criss cross our united states going to dog shows for clients driving a Ford 450 30 foot trailer and 16 ft utility trailer did it close to 30 years all mine where standard shift

Put up a new fence around my garden today. Need to finish up, probably on Tuesday. Monday I am going to go watch my 5 year old grandson. Also planted some new "Salad Blend seed mixture" ( Italian lettuces with accents of arugula, chicory, endive, spinach & chard). We'll see how it does. Gotta go to bed so I get up in time to go to the grandson's house by 8 AM. Night!

Garden doing well. The Brussels sprouts and beets are near the chicken run. Some will fly out and get their fill of the beet and Brussels sprouts leaves, then fly back in. I am also finding little nests in my garden straw! Some must be flying out and hanging out in the garden under the plants some times. Yes, we are planning to enclose the run. Since the coop is elevated and has a deck, they have shade, and aerial protection.

The melons are vining, the cukes are just beginning to vine. Both were started from seed in the ground, and I had to replant some of the cuke seeds. Since it was so cold and windy for so long, the melons didn’t grow for weeks, only the first couple of real leaves that developed during a warm few days, then no growth until this past week or so.

My neighbor has had bad luck with his garden due to the cold and wet. The tomatoes he planted a few weeks ago look so-so. But, he was able to buy several very healthy tomato plants yesterday to plant in his garden. I was surprised they had a selection so late! He said many were in the store and buying tomato plants, so I guess others are needing plants too.

Since we got straight run chicks that are now 9 weeks old, we have a few extra males. We let our neighbor choose 1, and he put him in with his 7 pullets (age 17 weeks). A little bit of dominance going on...but, there are visual variations and an older TSC coop in the run to hide in/run around. There is a bigger/taller coop that the birds roost in. Anyway, looks like the male has some good instincts, and a hose helps with toning down the dominance displays. Hoping today goes well for the male, but neighbor has an elevated separate cage/coop next to the run that he can use if the male needs a break.

Nope, but I have been using cortizone cream for now. The rash isn't weepy and no blisters.
Wash the affected areas off and gently blot dry. Then try vinegar. Then go see a doctor or at least an urgent care.
