What did you do in the garden today?

She has got to go! 30 min of her climbing the shade cloth ( off and on) clear up underneath the run wings. Solid hardware cloth. But dang!

Good morning gardeners. That's a very bold fox @WthrLady. Aside from the hawks, the only critter I've had concerns about lately is a very bold chipmunk that insists on dashing through the hens while they are enjoying their afternoon supervised "free ranging." One of the girls even gave him a peck and he still came back for another dash across their path. He even stopped to nibble on a bit of watermelon when no one was looking. Too funny! The garden is doing fine. I did notice that some of Roma tomato plants bottom leaves are yellowing. I'm not sure what is causing it as they normally don't do that until after they are harvested. I could try some more fertilizer. I put bamboo canes across the top of the bean towers to give them more climbing space. Cucumbers and zucchini are starting to develop and the radish seeds I planted last week are popping through the dirt. I should be picking some jalapenos and a yellow squash soon. Peas are nearly done. Have a great day everyone.

We got a surprise rainstorm this morning. Good thing I watered yesterday afternoon. Actually, it was probably a good thing - ground wasn't parched where water would just run off somewhere else.

Finally got one 27' section of shade cloth up. I purchased a 50' roll online, cut as needed, then added side hems for stability where the grommets were going and sewed extra reinforcing layers where other grommets going on the top and bottom. It is 5' tall and covers the entire 10' South section, and about 15' of the East side. That should really help with the heat for the girls. Plus, it should keep their water cooler too - it is hard to keep it in the shade. The rooster did NOT like the shade cloth - he made loud warning calls and all the girls went running for the other side. Maybe it makes a funny sound? Maybe he hates the color tan? Don't know, but once it was up, they were fine with it. Next, I have another 12' section almost ready to go up, but need to determine if it will go up in one spot or the other.

BF is installing a new light over the sink have a heck of a time the wiring in are home is scary almost like there has to be another fuse box as flipped all but the main and only the Son's room was shut off no others ? has to a second fuse box ?

Sounds like a bridged circuit in the wiring in the box. We have one. To work on that light you have to not only flip off that fuse, but another one as well. Both must be off for the one to be safe.

We have one like that. It was wired like that accidentally, but they can't figure out how to UN-do it, so I have both fuses marked so that I make sure they both get flipped if I work on either.
