What did you do in the garden today?

My shortbread cookie dough went hard as brick I mistakenly added a cup powdered sugar had to leave it in the fridge overnight was like a brick this morning

You are making me want shortbread cookies! :drool
 
Had to use a new butter called challenge said sweat cream salted butter but they came out thin ? tried new cookie stamp not so great at it or dough was not right ? see all the broken

I use challenge butter all the time. The spread and fragility is from either too much moisture content in the butter, or not enough flour in the recipe, OR dough that is too warm. Judging by the grease marks on the towels, and the lack of hold in the stamp shape, I think it was too little flour.
