What did you do in the garden today?

Good afternoon gardeners. I watered some things this morning and checked that the succulents are doing ok, but that's it for today. I have a new Spanish lavender to transplant tomorrow, it smells wonderful! Hubs got the small grass frame done so I'll be planting grass tomorrow too. Still needs a support beam in the middle

I pulled the existing tomato plant and tossed the strawberry plant. I'm going to harvest peas tomorrow and pull those too. Seeds I picked up today include cilantro, zucchini and crookneck squash, basil, dill and jalapeno. I'm going to put the squash and peppers in the ground and the herbs in pots. I have one built out of old gas station windows! It's not much as far as being a greenhouse, it's mostly my garden shed, full of stuff.

Good morning. Still on water duty and feeding the pellet stove. Got to around 10F overnight, it's up to a balmy 16F right now. Need to run to the store in a little bit. I'm re-working the planting for the new garden bed. So I'm not ready to finalize my seed shopping list. The forecast is for around 6 inches of light, fluffy snow starting late afternoon. I'm sure the chickens will be thrilled. Thanks for the pictures of gardens and unfrozen dirt @TropicalBabies, @igorsMistress and @Acre4Me. It reminds me that the big thaw will come. Eventually. My little Meyer lemon is now a much lighter shade of green, so I believe it's on it's way to ripening. Have a great day everyone.

We are a sheet of ice. It's currently 5 with the winds howling making it 10below. Tonight will be 25blelow... I am not a fan. But it's pretty, as long as you don't have to be out in it.

Laundry, bread baking, paper writing, snow shoveling kind of day.
