What did you do in the garden today?

OK, So the temps topped out near 40F today and we still have 4 inches (at least) of snow on the ground. I did take advantage of the warmth and shoveled a path to the compost tumbler. These are the only pictures I took today. The chickens were quite happy after clearing snow from more of the grass. I couldn't get a photo of my BR pullets as they were flitting around too much. Now these are hardy New England birds! Enjoy!

Beautiful chickens! Your rooster is quite handsome.

Hubby and I put together the deep brood box and 2 supers for the bees today. I painted the brood box ( outside only). I want to paint the supers too, but I want to use a different color (which I don't have yet).
I'm hoping the roads aren't too bad when I head out to work in the morning!
Hows work going?
