I have eaten rabbit and would again. The strangest meat I've eaten is actually Guinea pig. I was in Ecuador on a trip and it's a common delicacie there. It wasn't bad, a bit overdone as I recall. As good squirrel, I would eat it if it was from the woods where it was likely to feed on waste/garabe. Add for opossum, that's pushing it for me, but my in-laws swear that opossum burgers are delicious.
The first thing I learned to hunt was squirrel, but I could never see the darn things when my brother pointed them out. So I never actually shot any.

I have dressed out a lot of them though ( my brother's could see them!) I think they are delicious and taste a lot like chicken but chewier. I have also butchered a lot of rabbits ( because I used to raise meat rabbits). The one time I went rabbit hunting out in the woods, the darn rabbit wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a good shot!

As far as Opossum, I've never eaten it, but I have heard that it is oilier like bear ( I've never eaten bear either as far as I can remember).
I was excited because we were going to get $3,778.50 for my car that was totaled. However when the guy sent the paperwork for me to review I noticed that the mileage was WAY off!
He had it listed as 91,XXX and it is more like 191,XXX (if not more). So I called and let him know. Now I'm waiting for the updated paperwork to see what they offer us instead.
I can't expect others to have integrity if I don't use integrity myself. But it still would have been nice to get the bigger amount for the car!
