I just told my husband that Nebraska is the place to be if you like weather!
Yesterday I planted 6 thornless raspberry plants and soaked 30 strawberry roots in water to plant today. Also soaked 2 cherry bushes ( they look more like trees to me
) but none of those got planted today. We had torrential rain most of the day. My hubby even got the van stuck in the yard because it was so saturated that when he pulled on it just a little to back up where he wanted to be, it got stuck. We got it out but now the yard has some pretty big ruts.
.For the grandson's science lesson today we went down and looked at all of the eggs in the incubator. He thought it was pretty cool that you could see inside the eggshell! Definitely have 1 clear and at least 1 early quitter but it worked out well that they were in there so we could use them as a comparison.
Was hoping the grandson and hubby would work on making me a cold frame today but that didn't happen. The 3 of us did play a board game together though!
Hubs was done early at work so we took the pups to the park for a walk and I didn't do a thing outside other than that. Our governor has called up the National Guard to help restock resources and he's delayed having to renew driver's licenses for those turning 65 for now. That also applies to commercial drivers. It's getting interesting. Have a great night all.
