Transplanted some of the Super Sauce and Amish paste plants from the cells to solo cups . They should have a pretty good root structure by the time they go in the ground .
Yesterday I made a new bed (trying to do a lot of expanding of the garden this year). Seeded it with a various mustards, chards, kale, chives, spinaches and radicchio.
Today I'll be planting more summer squash seeds. Gotta get em in now. Vine borer pressure is insane here. Bane of my existence.
Tomatoes are settling in after transplant. I....may have planted over 20 tomato plants of all different varieties. Hoping to be able to put away a bunch this year and feed my elderly neighbors.
Weather has been gorgeous. First round of beans and squash just started flowering!
Beautiful day here . I have been digging seedling trees and grafting them . Got to get them on the heat callus pipe next . Experimenting on this new to me method for hard to graft walnut trees . Some plum trees also .
Still searching and trying different paste tomatoes . I like prolific and good size . Will try to cross breed some also . Slicers are my main crop .
