What did you do in the garden today?

Good morning gardeners. Quick note. I was watching the news and they're talking about Asian giant hornets. They are in the US now, found in WA state and they kill honey bees. @WthrLady I thought of you immediately, they can sting through a bee suit and can be deadly. I can't keep bees here, Africanized are too common to risk it unfortunately.
Ya. It's always something.

Did I show you all what Angus did to me during toenail time? I should get hazard pay.

Hills you say.....my commute route....panoramic. excuse the glitch in the photo stitching

I'm always amazed at pictures of flat land gardens. Born and raised on the East Coast, hills are never in short supply. Wide open flat land is interesting.

Many east think they have mountains till they come out here and the see real mountains
I guess you forgot @penny1960, I lived in Eastern Washington for years before I returned to the east coast. And I didn’t say mountains, I said hills. If you have spent any time on the East Coast, there are hills.

Aloha garden people.
I finally planted my Soursop this morning- yippee.
Made carrot cake and carrot cupcakes for sharing. Gave some to my gal pal and she gave me 2 starts from her lemon grass that I immediately planted in a pot and then put a cage around it. Maybe my chickens will leave this one alone. They love to sit on top and crush them especially when full and healthy and beautiful. Stinkers.
We have a young couple who's child got hit by a tourist 3 months back so i will bring eggs and carrot cake their way to do a monthly hello and check in. Child has made a wonderful recovery. Thank goodness.

Awesome day today. We are in our high/mid 80's but with high clouds and good trades. Nice day.
Plan to sow seeds for a friend this eve, now that I have a bale of potting soil to play with.
Only 4 eggs so far today and no garden harvest. Time for a nap.
