great attitude... plants have explosive growth in my improper composts so I am satisfied... and I feed chickens with it.... I also spend a little more time pulling weeds in my garden than I should but I like the exercise.Instead of a fail I'm going to view it as super productive multi tasking compost![]()
You can definitely make tea with them, it’s apparently toning, I saved a bleeding chick with the plantain cause it encourages coagulation. There are so many healthy weeds here and the soil is crazy, I have to mow soo much. I’ve got nettles that I eat and my chickens eat, tall grass that I cut and dry instead of buying hay. Lots of colts foot too.Silly me spent more time checking out there weeds and Identifying them and their uses instead of the Blackberries and Chickens lol. I am turning into a plant nerd. Those Plantains (weeds) look really good, you have some really nice soil. I have wild blackberries (fruits very small and not worth the effort to collect) and I pluck them up to feed the greens to my rabbits. They love Blackberry greens. I wonder if humans can eat the greens. Thorns might be tough for humans to eat but rabbits chew right through them.
Tomatoes already and no blackberries? Where’s this?I am waiting here late this month my blackerry will rippen have tomatoes coming out my ears and brussle sprouts
Thumbs up, looks like you doing a lot of things right to have so many beneficial weeds coming in so healthy. I use Plantains on bug bites and the itchy swell goes away. You can definitely make tea with them, it’s apparently toning, I saved a bleeding chick with the plantain cause it encourages coagulation.
